How It Works
 
Dasangam Powder is used with a charcoal disc (available separately) placed in a heat-proof vessel — traditionally a bronze or clay censer, though any metal or ceramic bowl will serve. Once the charcoal glows red, a pinch of powder is placed on its surface. The immediate release of fragrant smoke is more intense and complex than any stick or dhoop can produce, because the volatile aromatic compounds are released all at once by direct heat rather than through a slow, buffered burn.
